The project involves rich clients (Java Swing based), and we would like to use WebStart to deploy these clients (which will be using Terracotta). That gives user option to download and run it using webstart. The application can be re-launched later from a desktop shortcut or launch menu item using the standard JNLP and Java Web Start technologies. For easy deployment, Terracotta enabled Java applications can also be launched via web start.
